Meet Brianna Bucholz

Taking a Fresh Approach to Employee Benefits and Insurance Options

Brianna Bucholz “accidentally” landed in the insurance business in 2015 when she was introduced to Aflac. She sold Aflac business coverage for the first two years of her insurance career before deciding to expand her offerings to all lines of employee benefits—especially geared toward employees in trade-related industries.

A Focus on Small Business and the Trades

During her career, Brianna has successfully helped more than 150 small business establish benefit packages that fit with their budgets, goals, and long-term strategies. Most importantly, she’s helped them find the packages that achieve the right balance between ensuring that employee needs are met and budget considerations. The right decisions, Brianna believes, don’t represent an expense as much as an opportunity to attract and engage skilled workers.

Brianna is passionate about listening to each small business’s needs and understanding their employees and their life situations. For small businesses, of course, money is always an issue—for employers and employees. Brianna knows this and has effectively been able to help small businesses, even start-ups with $0.00 in their benefits budgets. She brings enlightenment to the market on ICHRA/QSEHRA/ Level Funded Health Plans as well as voluntary products.

Working Class Background

Brianna comes from a long line of "working folk." Her father was a truck driver for more than 50 years and she grew up on a Midwest cattle and horse farm. In fact, she says, she was “basically raised on the back of a horse.” Her first job, at age 14, was training colts for her neighbors. After graduating from high school she moved to Iowa to ride cutting horses with a trainer at a feedlot.

While she moved on to other opportunities and other jobs, she has always been involved in the equine industry—whether showing, breeding, buying, training, or selling horses. Brianna’s other jobs have included working for Capital Safety (now 3M Safety) as the North American Training Coordinator for Canada and in sales at Verizon.

Meeting the Employee Benefit and Insurance Needs of Small Business Employers

Today, Brianna specializes in offering cutting edge strategic benefits for companies of all sizes. From small group fully insured to self-funded/captive/ ICHRA solutions—she has a strategy to help your business make well-informed and cost-effective employee benefit and insurance decisions.

Brianna’s working class roots have given her both a strong work ethic and the understanding of what it’s like to work for everything you have. She’s passionate about helping those in the trades leverage the value of what they earn while protecting their assets. Turn to Brianna for all of your employee benefit and insurance needs.
